Undergraduate Student Life works to foster a welcoming and inclusive community by supporting undergraduate students in the development of skills and awareness of self and others required to responsibly engage, serve and lead at Columbia, in New York City and beyond. In three areas, Multicultural Affairs, Residential Life and Student Engagement, we oversee the new student orientation program, affinity groups, organizational advising, heritage months, community programming, fraternity and sorority life — and so much more.

Graduating seniors can register for Multicultural Graduation ceremonies by Sunday, March 21 to receive their graduation gift. You can also nominate a senior for graduation cords.

Multicultural Affairs is looking for dynamic student facilitators to lead Under1Roof dialogues for incoming first-year students and student-led ROOTED dialogues throughout the academic year.

The Columbia Mentoring Initiative is looking for its next group of student leaders! Applications are now open to become a mentor or “family tree” chair.

The Identity & Inclusion Series is a set of interactive diversity and inclusion workshops on building a socially conscious community. Sign up for one or many!
