Peer Academic Skills Consultants are student leaders who assist students in a one-on-one setting with academic skill building. Consultants will:
lead students through the college learning process by helping them develop effective learning strategies;
identify barriers to learning and support students by providing them with individualized approaches; and
assist students with a variety of topics, including time management, setting goals, note-taking, active reading and study strategies, effective use of office hours and campus resources, etc.
