Visiting and Exchange Students

Columbia University welcomes Visiting and Exchange Students from undergraduate institutions across the country and around the world.  Specifically, the Center for Student Advising supports those students enrolled in the Columbia College Visiting Student Program Columbia Undergraduate Exchange Programs, and the Howard University Exchange Program. Bringing a diversity of experiences and perspectives, these Visiting and Exchange Students enrich the cultural and intellectual landscape of our community.

The CSA recognizes the unique experiences and challenges faced by Visiting and Exchange Students as they must quickly adapt to a new environment, navigate a new system, and integrate into a new community. Toward this end, the Center for Student Advising provides a variety of programs and services designed assist in this transition and make the most of their time at Columbia.
