Multicultural Affairs Advisory Council (MAAC) First-Year Representative Application

Are you a first-year student interested in joining the Multicultural Affairs Advisory Board (MAAC)? The deadline to apply is Wednesday, September 14th at 12:00 p.m. (noon).

How are applicants selected?

COÖP participants are selected through the pre-orientation application process which is open each year between mid April and mid May. Although the largest pre-orientation porgram, COÖP can only accomodate 225 first-year students. Therefore, applications are selected based on interest in the program experience, demonstrated desire to join the community, and creativity.

JADE 2020 Coordinator Application

Apply to be a student coordinator for the Jumpstarting Aspiring Developers and Entrepreneurs (JADE) program! 

Starting in September and continuing throughout the fall semester, JADE coordinators work in conjunction with Marnie Whalen, assistant director of Student Engagement, to organize the week-long JADE program. JADE coordinators are responsible for planning the schedule for the week, choosing companies to visit- and interviewing and selecting program participants.

2020 International Buddy Program "Cub" Application

Applications to become a "cub" are now open! The priority deadline to apply is Sunday, May 17 at 11:59 p.m. EDT. The final deadline to apply is Wednesday, July 29 at 11:59 p.m. EDT.

The International Buddy Program (IBP) connects current undergraduates ("lions") with incoming international students ("cubs") as they begin their college journey at Columbia. "Lions" will share their experiences and provide advice during the summer and the initial month of your first semester.
