Supplemental Funding Request for Thanksgiving Break 2013-2014

The Office of International Student Programs and Services (ISPS) is offering an opportunity for supplemental funding of events facilitated by members of the Residential Programs staff during the academic break. The funds are intended to provide ways for students to connect while on campus and in New York City during this period. ISPS encourages RP staff who will be on campus during Thanksgiving break (November 27, 2013 to December 1, 2013) to plan and offer events to those in the community who remain on campus.

Please include the specific breakdown for: Program Related Expenses (room rental, equipment or AV, vendor services, movie rental, props, games, supplies, etc.); Food Expenses (meals for X number of people, refreshments for X number of people, Catering/Food Vendor expenses, etc.): Publicity/Advertisement Expenses (tickets, flyers, posters, etc.); Other expenses; List other funding sources, the amounts given, and the total amount you are requesting for each category.

First Year Mentee Application 2015

Columbia Mentoring Initiative First Year Application

The Columbia Mentoring Initiative (CMI) is an inter-generational mentorship program administered through Multicultural Affairs (OMA) that connects historically underrepresented first year students with returning students (sophomores, juniors and seniors) from shared social identities, and all students with alumni.  CMI provides students the opportunity to get involved in various "family trees" including Arab and Middle Eastern, Asian, Black, Indigenous, International, Latino, and LGBTQ.

Commuter Guest Application

CC/SEAS students who would like to host a non-residential (commuter) undergraduate CC or SEAS student should submit the following application for review.

Process:

Once a CC/SEAS residential host student submits this application, the information will be reviewed by Residential Programs, Housing and Office of Judicial Affairs to confirm all information is correct and the non-residential undergraduate student is eligible to swipe into the residence hall where his/her host resides.

I understand that I am responsible for the actions of my guest while he/she is in the residence hall, irrespective of my presence during a particular incident or concern, and may result in disciplinary action for me and/or my guest.
I understand my guest should abide by policies as outlined in the Guide to Living, available on the Columbia Housing website: http://housing.columbia.edu/
I have reviewed the policies outline in the Guide to Living with my non-residential guest.
I acknowledge that I am a currently enrolled undergraduate student in Columbia College or School of Engineering and Applied Science in good University standing. I understand that I must remain in good University standing in order to host a non-residential guest. I agree that my academic and disciplinary status may be verified by the Center for Student Advising and the Office of Judicial Affairs and Community Standards.
