Family Orientation 2014: Presenter Information

Thank you for helping us showcase for parents and families of Columbia undergraduates the excellent programs and instruction their student is receiving at Columbia University.

So that our guests may know a bit about you while attending your session, we ask that you provide to following basic information to be included in our printed schedule book.

Request to join the CC/SEAS Class of 2018 Facebook group

Thank you for your interest in joining the Class of 2018 Facebook group for the incoming students in Columbia College (CC) and The Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS).

Domestic Travel Form

All students who travel domestically within the United States or its territories (outside of New York City) on Columbia-supported travel must register their trip with the University. To register a trip so it appears on this form, please contact your adviser.

Please complete this form at least two weeks before your departure. This form provides us with vital information in case of an emergency during your trip.

This form is for all Resident and or Community Advisors (RA/CAs) to submit after checking resident rooms upon check out. 

  • Please indicate each room and each uni for spaces which have room damage(s). 
  • If a room/suite has more than one resident, please make sure to note all residents and rooms.
  • You do not need to submit rooms and unis which do not have damages. 
  • If a photograph is warranted, please upload the photo to this webform.

Depending on campus policies, we currently anticipate being able to accommodate a maximum of one guest per Summer Bridge participant for Orientation on July 8, but guests must be registered in advance and present email authorization upon arrival. Please note guests will be asked to depart once the dinner has ended.

COLUMBIA 101 Parent Volunteer Interest Form

Every summer, Family Engagement, the Center for Student Advising, and our partner offices across campus present COLUMBIA 101 sessions (perhaps you remember attending this program in the summer before your student came to Columbia). COLUMBIA 101 provides students and families with important information about the transition to Columbia, our curriculum, and life on campus.
