The Native Graduation ceremony serves as an intimate gathering for family, friends and members of the Native American and Indigenous Columbia community to celebrate the culture and accomplishments of the graduating class.
This year's First-Generation Graduation will be Columbia's inaugural graduation ceremony for our students who will be the first in their family to graduate from college. This event provides an intimate setting for family, friends, alumni, faculty, staff, and students to recognize the achievements and impact of our students. A reception, hosted by the Berick Center for Student Advising, follows. This ceremony is sponsored by the Multicultural Affairs | Undergraduate Student Life.
The Black Graduation ceremony serves as an intimate gathering for family, friends and members of the Black Columbia community to celebrate the culture and accomplishments of the graduating class. This event is open to graduating seniors of Columbia College, Columbia Engineering, the School of General Studies and Barnard College.
