Letters to First-Year Students

We know you have plenty of wisdom to share, and this academic year, we need it more than ever. As difficult as it is for us to be separated form our friends and the Columbia community this semester, our newest classmates in the Class of 2024 are still beginning to find their communities and home at Columbia. We are looking to you to share this community with them through letter writing.

Adjusting To Virtual Columbia: Open to 1st Year CC & SEAS Students

Columbia’s Psychological Services (CPS) is offering 1st Year CC & SEAS students a supportive non-confidential workshop to help address challenges that 1st year students are experiencing as they adjust to college.

This two-session workshop will help ease the transition by discussing coping strategies to feel more “at home” as a member of the Columbia community. Studying remotely and living with family can be difficult at times. Not to mention the feelings of missing out on the “college experience.” CPS is here to help.
