Requirements and Deadlines
Whether you are a first-year, transfer, visiting or graduate student, the New Student website highlights key information and outlines important steps and requirements to ensure you have a smooth transition to Columbia.
Advising
In early August, you will be assigned an advising dean in the Center for Student Advising. He or she will works directly with the department of the engineering major you have chosen. You will also have a faculty advisor in your selected major who will address your questions about course selection, program planning, and course equivalencies during orientation.
More specific information about your Engineering major will be included in an email later this summer. This email will include department contacts, course plans, and instructions to file course equivalency forms if necessary.
