BOP Van Navigator Application

The van navigator position on BOP is integral to both the fun and function of the program. The van navigators help the van drivers (Columbia administrators) ensure that the support and equipment vans are in the right place at the right time in order to successfully execute water stops along the BOP route. Van navigators camp, eat, and play games with the rest of the BOPpers every night and are very much included in the trip overall as well as in BOP leader and leader-first year events throughout the year.

Peer Academic Skills Consultants can help students:

  • Develop effective learning strategies;
  • Identify barriers to learning by providing them with individualized approaches; and
  • Assist students with a variety of topics, including time management, setting goals, note-taking, active reading and study strategies, effective use of office hours and campus resources, etc.
