New Class Sweater Shipment Date

Due to a production delay, Hillflint plans to ship the Class of 2018 sweaters on Friday, January 5.

University Commencement

Commencement is the University-wide event celebrating graduates of all Columbia schools and its affiliates. The ceremony begins with the academic procession and includes the awarding of honorary degrees, the President's address to graduates, and the conferring of degrees en masse by school.

Columbia Engineering Class Day

The Columbia Engineering Class Day ceremony is for all SEAS graduates whose degrees are conferred within the 2017-18 academic year, and their families. During the ceremony, individual students are recognized for their achievements. As their names are read, graduates process across the stage and are photographed.

May Grads: Apply for your degree by December 1

If you couldn't make it to the "Apply for the Degree" event, you'll need to fill out and send your application to diplomas@columbia.edu by Friday, December 1.

Mark your calendars for "Apply for the Degree" — the event!

Join the senior class councils and advising deans from the Berick Center for Student Advising in Low Library Rotunda for "Apply for the Degree." Your application will be prepared for you — all you'll need to do is review, make any changes and sign! This is also a chance to ask questions about graduation, connect with vendors (class rings!) and pick up giveaways and Insomnia Cookies.

Order your class ring Oct. 3-5!

Tuesday, October 3 through Thursday, October 5, in the bookstore from 12:00-6:00 p.m., class ring representatives from Balfour will be taking orders. For more information, give them a call at 1-877-225-3687 or visit Balfor's website.
