For Independent Projects, can SEF funding be used to pay me for the time I spend on the project?

No, this is not wage or a salary; it is a stipend for expenses necessary to carry out your project, such as supplies, housing, food, and travel.

Why do I have to submit a record of my expenses?

Our office is required to maintain documentation that the funds we distribute are being used for expenses that are appropriate to each summer fellowship opportunity. This is consistent with federal grants for scientific and non-profit research.

Student Leader Agreement Creation/Update

Undergraduate Student Life staff should utilize this webform to request a new student leader agreement or updates to an existing agreement. 

Once submitted, this webform routes to a member of Administration & Planning to create the requested student leader agreement. Programs and positions which may require the submission of this webform include:

Payment Information
For hourly positions, include the hourly rate and hours per week (e.g. $15/hour for 10 hours per week). For stipend positions, list each payment date and amount (e.g. October 15: $300, December 15: $300, March 15: $300, May 15: $300). Stipend payment dates always occur on the 15th of each month, with exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis.
