The five Multicultural Affairs Student Coordinators will be primarily charged with supporting the development and implementation of programming in Multicultural Affairs and specifically assigned to one of the following focus areas within the office (last updated November 10, 2025):
Multicultural Affairs is looking for a Graduate Student Coordinator for the undergraduate International Student Orientation Program (ISOP). Supporting the Director of Education, Outreach and International Student Support, the Coordinator is responsible for planning, devising, and managing components of ISOP for Summer 2016. This position plays an integral role in managing ISOP logistics, shaping a positive orientation experience for new students and student orientation leaders, and preparing new international students to achieve a successful beginning to their Columbia University career.
Orientation leaders (OLs) and head orientation leaders for the International Student Orientation Program (ISOP) are undergraduate students in Columbia College or Columbia Engineering who assist Multicultural Affairs in welcoming first-year international undergraduate students to Columbia University. Leaders play an integral role in that they shape a positive orientation experience and prepare new international students for a successful beginning to their Columbia University career.
