2022–23 Graduate Hall Director Intent to Return Form

Current graduate hall directors (GHDs) who will still be full-time students in the 2022–23 academic year are eligible to return as GHDs, pending performance of the 2022–23 academic year.

Please fill out the form below no later than Friday, February 18.

2026 George Vincent Wendell Memorial Award

Columbia Engineering Class of 2026: you're invited to recognize your outstanding classmates and cast your vote for the winner of the George Vincent Wendell Memorial Award!

Faculty have nominated one student from each department who they believe best exemplifies the late Professor George Vincent Wendell's ideals of character, scholarship, and service. These nominees are now presented to members of the Columbia Engineering senior class, who are invited to vote for the student they believe merits special recognition for these qualities.

2026 CC Senior Award Voting

Columbia College Class of 2026: you’re invited to recognize your outstanding classmates and cast your vote for this year’s Senior Awards!

Each year, the graduating class of Columbia College selects the recipients of the Brainard, Rolker, and Alumni prizes.

In January and February, members of the Columbia community were invited to nominate students for awards. Many outstanding students were represented in these nominations, and three finalists were chosen for each award.

Senior Resident Adviser Application

To apply to be a Senior Resident Adviser you must be a CC or SEAS undergraduate student with gauranteed housing and at least one year of Resident Adviser experience at Columbia University.

Applications are due by 12:00 p.m. on Monday, January 5, 2015

Individual interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis starting December 2, 2014 through January 21, 2015. Decisions will be made and candidates will be notified by 5:00 p.m. on January 23, 2015.

Why do you want to be a Senior Resident Adviser next year?
Detail some successes that you achieved this year in building a strong team amongst your current staff.
Please share with us your motivations for wanting to work with Hall Council. How can you, as a Senior RA support them in their success?
Describe a time when you had a miscommunication or disagreement with someone. How did you work to resolve that issue? What did you learn about yourself from this experience?
Detail other time commitments you plan to have while assuming the responsibilities of a SRA next year. Provide the title, organization, and time commitment, and explain how you will manage these activities while you are also serving in the SRAA role.
