Columbia College Ceremony Ticketing

Updated April 11, 2024

Ticketing has re-opened for Columbia College Class Day and University Commencement.

Commencement Office Ticketing Portal

To access the ticketing system, you will be prompted to verify several pieces of information. It is imperative that you enter the values for first name, last name and email exactly as they appeared in the email sent to you on April 9 from Columbia College Class Day. Once you have logged in successfully, follow the step-by-step instructions below to claim your tickets. If you have issues with ticketing, contact classday@columbia.edu.

After registering, graduates will receive a single ticket to be used for their own entry to both ceremonies (Class Day and Commencement). Students will also receive separate emails for each guest for each event they registered those guests for. Each email will contain a unique quest ticket for a specific ceremony. Students are responsible for distributing these guest tickets directly to their guests.

To modify your registration, visit the ticketing platform, select “Already registered?” located under the “Register Now” button, then enter the email address used at registration and the confirmation number provided in your graduate confirmation email.

Step by Step Instructions

  • When you reach the ticketing platform homepage, then click the "Register Now" button.
  • Fill out Step 1: Graduate Information, then click "Next."
  • Complete Step 2A: Guest Information. If a guest is attending both Commencement and Class Day, you will need to add them twice (guests will be assigned to specific events in the next step). Please note, guest names and emails are only collected for emergency communications.
    • If you will have more than 8 guests attending Class Day, please complete this webform before May 1 to reserve additional tickets.
  • Complete Step 2B: Commencement Ticket Assignments.
    • Click "Select Attendees" for Columbia College Class Day, then select yourself and all guests who are attending Class Day.
    • Repeat this process for yourself and guests attending University Commencement.
  • In Step 3: Registration Summary, review your registration and guest information. Click "Submit" to finalize your registration.
  • After submitting your registration, you will see a confirmation page and receive a confirmation email. Additional emails will follow containing your graduate ticket (which you will use to enter both events), and each of your guest tickets (which you must distribute to each guest, for each event they are ticketed to attend). You will be able to modify your registration anytime before May 1.
