- Landmark
A necessary homage to the legendary Kronos Quartet through the means of a necessarily incomplete broadcast with good intentions. The intentions were, namely, to provide an eclectic yet aurally engaging program following in consequence from two axioms:
1 That the Kronos Quartet is "basically" a classical ensemble, and
2 Everything the Kronos Quartet plays is very good
In a way, much of the music on this program could be viewed as a continuation of Ms. Rubashkin's 6/16 Cereal Music program, featuring unusual arrangements of well-known pieces.
