Poet Madoka Mayuzumi and Composer Akira Senju on World Premier of "Song for Fukushima"
On February 27th, Japanese haiku poet Madoka Mayuzumi and composer Akira Senju will join host Alessandro Garinois to discuss the world premier of their collaborative choral piece "Song for Fukushima."
In commemoration of the one-year anniversary of the March 2011 earthquake, Mayuzumi and Senju will join Columbia University scholars and others for a symposium and choral concert held on March 6 (Tue) at Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Center.
