Tonight's program featured an exclusive interview with Canadian soprano Adrianne Pieczonka. Hailed as the leading Strauss soprano of her generation, Ms. Pieczonka is currently starring at The Metropolitan Opera as Chrysothemis in Patrice Chéreau's legendary production of Richard Strauss's Elektra. After the interview, we marked the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death with Verdi's final opera Falstaff, which also featured Pieczonka as Alice Ford.
