An epic documentary based on Ronald Wright's best-selling book and co-directed by Mathieu Roy and Harold Crooks, Surviving Progress challenges the modern notion of progress as technological, economic, and population expansion.

Also interviewed are leading actor Dwight Henry and co-writer Lucy Alibar. Taking place in the alternate universe of the American South, Beasts of the Southern Wild follows a little girl as she faces what seems to be the end of the world. This film was a hit at Sundance, played at BAMcinemaFest on June 21 and is opening commercially June 27, 2012.
