Depending on campus policies, we currently anticipate being able to accommodate a maximum of one guest per Summer Bridge participant for Orientation on July 8, but guests must be registered in advance and present email authorization upon arrival. Please note guests will be asked to depart once the dinner has ended.

ASP - Summer Bridge Program Residential Counselor Acceptance

The office of Academic Success Programs is pleased to offer you the position of Residential Counselor for the 2025 Summer Bridge Program, beginning on Tuesday, July 8 and ending on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.  For this period of employment, you will receive a stipend of $3,400.  In addition to your salary, you will receive free housing, access to the Dodge Fitness Center, three meals per day (Monday through Friday), and two meals per day (Saturday and Sunday), during the above-mentioned period of employment.

Summer Bridge Program Job Application

Prior to fall enrollment, entering first-year program participants attend a mandatory five-week Summer Bridge Program offered through Academic Success Programs.  Participants take courses in Calculus, Statistics, Writing, Literature Humanities, Physics, Psychology, and Chemistry to prepare for the academic work required of Columbia students. The program begins on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, and ends Tuesday, August 4, 2026.
