Congratulations! We are so excited to formally extend you the opportunity to serve as a facilitator for Under1Roof dialogues for incoming first-year students during the New Student Orientation Program (NSOP). Your commitment period is Tuesday, August 25, 2026 through Friday, September 4, 2026. We are looking forward to having you as an integral part of our Under1Roof team, and we rely on your enthusiasm for connection and your capacity for dialogue. Below is a reminder of the terms surrounding your participation as an Under1Roof facilitator.

Requirements for student facilitators:

• Currently enrolled Columbia College or Columbia Engineering undergraduate student in good standing throughout the commitment period
• Attendance at a new and returning facilitator luncheon in spring 2026
• Availability for the entirety of NSOP 2026
• Attendance at five day-log training sessions prior to NSOP
• Co-facilitation during all sessions of Under1Roof during NSOP
• Attendance at a debrief lunch during the first week of classes and/or written evaluation

Provided to facilitators:

• Early move-in and housing throughout the training and NSOP period (if living on campus)
• Additional swipes for dining (in the dining halls and then the tents) throughout the training and NSOP period

Early move-in is projected for Tuesday, August 25, 2026. All dates are tentative until further notice. Program administrators will reach out once an official move-in date is confirmed.
