Mental Health Awareness in Communities of Color Workshop

On Wednesday, April 17, 12:302:00 p.m., Students of Color @ Columbia will host a workshop for mental health in communities of color in the Satow Conference Room in Alfred Lerner Hall. This 90-minute workshop aims to examine mental health from an anti-racist, anti-oppressive lens. All campus community members are welcome to attend. Please register below to reserve your spot.

About the Facilitator

Keylse Angelo, currently serves as on the clinical counseling staff as the multicultural specialist in Counseling Services at Berklee College of Art. She is a licensed clinical social worker with an MSW from Boston College. Prior to graduate school, she worked with nonprofit organizations and universities to provide academic and workforce development to clients striving for economic and personal growth. Her approach to working with people is centered on providing trauma-informed therapy that is sensitive to social justice issues.
