Stephanie N. King, LMSW, Associate Dean for Student Intervention & Family Engagement

Stephanie King

I provide support to students who are working through medical and psychological concerns, life traumas, and other barriers that may impede their success. I am available to meet one-on-one with students to better understand a challenge they may be experiencing and develop an individualized plan utilizing the many supportive resources Columbia has to offer. Most importantly, I am an advocate for students, and my door is always open to provide empathetic support.

I’m here to welcome you, answer questions, or just listen - over the phone, in person, or email. Proud parent of three college graduates, and an undergraduate at Columbia myself, I can relate to your concerns. Please let me know how I can help.

I support wellness by being a partner to students to help address their concerns and challenges. Through empathetic encouragement, I work with students individually and within a group setting to navigate issues that may affect their success at Columbia, identify and build their support network, and promote self-advocacy. Students are always welcome to drop by my office or send me an email to connect!
