NASPA Undergraduate Fellows Program

Looking for an opportunity for one-on-one mentoring from an experienced Student Affairs professional? Want to explore topics of diversity, multiculturalism, and identity development within higher education?

Become a NUFP Fellow!

NASPA, the organization for Student Affairs Professionals in High Education, offers the NASPA Undergraduate Fellows Program (NUFP), providing undergraduate students — particularly those who possess one or more underrepresented identities — with an opportunity to explore the complexities of higher education and build competency around multicultural and inclusivity issues.

Students who are accepted into the program at Columbia may also apply to participate at the national level.

To apply, please submit your responses to the following in a Word document or PDF to Joey Kopriva, Associate Director of Residential Life at jk3776@columbia.edu. Applications are due by September 30 at 9AM!

  • Name, UNI, School, Class Year
  • Any underrepresented or historically marginalized identities you may possess
  • Why  you are interested in participating in the NUFP program (4-6 sentences)
  • How your participation in NUFP connects to your personal and/or professional goals during your time at Columbia and/or your post-graduate life (4-6 sentences)
