Rag Aur Tal is on from 7-9PM on Sunday, November 8th, 2020!

From November 21st @ 7PM - November 22nd @ 7PM, the Ragas Live Festival, the 24 hour musical event will broadcast on WKCR. The event has the participation of artists in 13 cities across Asia, Africa, North and South America. There are 90 musicians participating including some of the greatest instrumentalists of our time including Grammy Award winners Zakir Hussain, Toumani Diabate and Vikku Vanayakram.

In Sunday’s show, host David Ellenbogen shares highlights from previous festivals, including unreleased performances from last year by Jay Gandhi and Abhik Mukherjee.
We'll also get a first listen to Brooklyn Raga Massive's upcoming album In D which the group will perform live in the penultimate set of this year's festival. Inspired by a fruitful correspondence between the legendary composer and the prolific artist collective, the 24 musician performance will be premiered at Ragas Live alongside a solo set from Terry Riley.
