Announcing the host of the Musician's Show for November 2025: celebrated trombonist Conrad Herwig!

Conrad began his career alongside Clark Terry, Toshiko Akiyoshi, Joe Henderson, Tom Harrell, and Joe Lovano. He is perhaps best known for his 25+ year project the “Latin Side…” series, highlighting the Latin Side of greats like Horace Silver, Joe Henderson, Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, and Charles Mingus. (He has played with many of those cats and is a longtime member of the Mingus Big Band.) In Latin circles, his collaborators include the late great Eddie Palmieri as well as Paquito D’Rivera and Randy Brecker. He remains an active performer and educator.
