Daves is a grammy nominated guitarist and singer who has been heralded by the New York Times as “a leading light in the New York bluegrass scene.” He has recorded with the likes of Chris Thile of the Punch Brothers and Brittany Haas of Crooked Still.
Tony Trischka is considered to be on of the most influential banjo players in the roots music world. For more than 45 years, his stylings have inspired a whole generation of bluegrass and acoustic musicians with the many voices he has brought to the instrument. He has collaborated with artists such as Earl Scruggs, Peter Rowan, Béla Fleck, and Tony Rice.
Daves and Trischka will be performing a variety of music from their recent albums and promoting next weekend’s Brooklyn Bluegrass Bash.
