Kevin Fitzgerald Burke is a veteran New York City vocalist, composer, guitarist, and producer. He has performed and/or recorded with, among others: Jon Hendricks, Bobby McFerrin, Al Jarreau, Wynton Marsalis, Harry Connick Jr., Manhattan Transfer, Sheila Jordan, Bob Dorough, Count Basie Orchestra, Marc Cohn, Joe Williams, Mavis Staples, Diane Reeves, Stanley Turrentine, and George Benson.
He is a long-time member of “Jon Hendricks & Company”and Jon Hendricks’ “LH&R Redux”, and co-starred in Hendricks’ jazz musicals “Reminiscing in Tempo” and “Evolution of the Blues.”
He has performed nationally and internationally at such venues as: Montreaux Jazz Festival, Umbria Jazz Festival, Playboy Jazz Festival, Monterey Jazz Festival, North Sea Jazz Festival, Montreal Jazz Festival, London Jazz Festival, Lugano Jazz Festival, Roma Jazz Festival, Marciac Jazz Festival, Jazz A’ Paris Festival, Jazz A’ Vienne, Tudo E’ Jazz-Brazil, Art of Jazz-Toronto, and acclaimed clubs such as the Blue Note in New York, Tokyo, Jakarta, and Milan, Kimball’s SF, Blues Alley-D.C., Maksoud Plaza-Sao Paolo Brazil, and Ronnie Scott’s of London.
