Tuesday, July 14, 2015 - 9:00pm to 9:30pm

Tune in Tuesday, July 14th, at 9:00 pm to hear an interview with Professor Rafael Yuste, a professor of the biological sciences and neuroscience at Columbia University. Professor Yuste is the director of the newly founded Neurotechnology Center at Columbia University, a coalition of interdisciplinary labs dedicated to innovating advances in neurotechnology. In this interview with WKCR programmer Danielle Smith, Professor Yuste discusses why there should be a shift from studying individual neurons to groups of neurons, current and emmerging neurotechnologies, and the interdisciplinary nature of the field of neuroscience.
