Eli Keszler on Afternoon New Music

Tune into Afternoon New Music today at 3 PM to hear an interview with New York City percussionist, composer and visual artist Eli Keszler. Keszler will talk about his new release, Last Signs of Speed and an upcoming show at Printed Matter on December 1st.

Keszler, who has collaborated with the likes of Joe McPhee, Oren Ambarchi and Keith Fullerton, writes compositions and visual works that examine the limits of instrumentation, notation and space in its institutional, musical and public form. His work has appeared at Lincoln Center, MIT List Center, Victoria & Albert Museum, Sculpture Center, THe Kitchen, Tectonics Festival Reykjavik, Centraal Museum in Utrecht, and many more places. His new record, Last Signs of Speed, is out November 17th on Empty Editions.
