Earlier in the year we celebrated Boulez's 90th birthday with a few days of his music on our classical shows. This week on Saturday Night at the Opera we will be focusing on his conducting first with Schoenberg's excruciating Moses und Aron with BBC Symphony Orchestra and Singers, then with Debussy's one completed opera, Pelleas et Melisande with The Orchestra of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden and their Chorus.
