August 3rd, F.Stokes visits The Hip Hop Show!

WKCR's hip-hop show is proud to have MC, poet F.Stokes on this week's show. F. arrived in New York at 19; originally born on the south side of Chicago, he moved to a shelter in Madison, Wisconsin with his Mother, and siblings. With four full releases in his discography, F.Stokes most recent album, 'Love, Always.', was released in March 2012. F. has a diverse background in music, and an international influence in hip-hop; from working for 50 Cent to collaborating with London, alternative band Bastille, and being featured on Parisian producers Mister Modo & Ugly Mac Beer's album Modonut 2. F. has performed with Nas, Big Daddy Kane, DMX, MC Hammer, and toured throughout Europe. Constantly performing, F. is one of hip-hop's most lyrical, and dedicated, contemporary artists. The Hip Hop Show airs 1-5 AM, Friday mornings.
