Jazz host Rachel Smith is back on the air with another special guest: jazz singer Antonia Bennett. The pre-recorded interview will air on WKCR from 12 noon to 1 PM (ET), on Thursday, February 22, 2024 (during Rachel's regularly-scheduled Out to Lunch program).

Tune in to hear about the lessons she learned from great musicians, the way she approaches creating a new record, and the music she is listening to now. Antonia also shares new insights into her upcoming album, which includes both standards and original compositions.

The rest of the program will be dedicated to four artists mentioned by Antonia during the interview. The segment from 1 to 2 PM (ET) will feature three instrumentalists (a pianist, a saxophonist, and a bassist) who inspired Antonia; the segment from 2 to 3 PM (ET) will shine the spotlight on one singer whose records Antonia wishes we could listen to more in this digital age.
