Tune in on Wednesday, May 6 from 6-9 PM (ET) for this month’s Musician’s Show, hosted by Adegoke Steve Colson and Iqua Colson. The Colsons are “AACM stalwarts and a musical power couple,” as the New York Times correctly described them. Both joined the Association for Advancement of Creative Musicians (AACM) in the 70s and have been pushing musical boundaries ever since. In addition to being wonderful musicians and passionate educators individually, they record together and co-own the recording label Silver Sphinx.

The Colsons' guests in the studio will be composer, multi-woodwind artist and member of Black Artist Group (BAG) J.D. Parran, and fellow member of Association for Advancement of Creative Musicians (AACM), composer and percussionist Reggie Nicholson.
