The following is a recording of live readings by Paco Marquez, Eva Saavedra, and Elizabeth Whittlesey. Paco is poetry editor at Washington Square. He’s been featured as Lo-Writer of the Week in Juan Felipe Herrera’s California Poet Laureate website, and he recently completed an MFA in poetry at NYU. His work has appeared in Occupoetry.org, and Apogee, among others. Eva has an MFA in writing and translation from Columbia's School of the Arts. Her chapbook, Thirst, was selected by Marilyn Hacker for the Poetry Society of America's 2014 New York Chapbook Fellowship. Her poetry has appeared in Callaloo, Catch-Up, The Acentos Review, Generations, Prick of the Spindle, and Apogee Journal. Elizabeth was born in Harare, Zimbabwe, grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah, and lives in New York City, New York. Her work has appeared in journals including Gulf Coast, jubilat, Boston Review, POOL, Two Serious Ladies, and BETTER.
