Altered Images: 150 Years of Posed and Manipulated Documentary Photography

The following is an interview WKCR programmer Danielle Smith conducted with Michael Kamber, the co-found of the Bronx Documentary Center and co-curator of the exhibit "Altered Images: 150 Years of Posed and Manipulated Documentary Photography. The exhibit creates a conversation about where the line should be drawn when it comes to altering photographs for journalistic purposes by including altered photos with varying degrees of controversy. The exhibit is on display at the Bronx Documentary Center until August 2nd, and can be viewed Thursday and Friday between 3 and 7 pm, and Saturday and Sunday between 1 and 5 pm.
