Columbia University Catering

Student groups can work with Columbia University Catering for food and beverage services at student organization events. Catering offers set-up and clean up services, and they are willing to work within any budget.

Please refer to the Columbia University Catering website for additional information and student menus.

Once you have reserved a space for your event, you can place standard orders in one of the following ways:

Once Columbia University Catering has received your order, a fax confirmation will be sent to your adviser's office. This process will give you the opportunity to review your order and make any necessary changes. You must have your adviser sign off on the order and fax it back to Columbia University Catering. Catering suggests setting up a personal meeting to discuss all special events. Before you make any catering arrangements, consult with your adviser and obtain budgetary authorization. Columbia University Catering does have “first right of refusal” for large events. Please consult with your adviser for additional information.

Local Food Vendors

Groups may also work with local vendors to provide food for their events.  The FTF-Approved Vendor List includes many options. If your group would like to work with a vendor that is not on this list, please see your adviser.

Kosher Options

There are many different Kosher options available for your student organizational events. Some are included in the FTF-Approved Vendor List. However you may want to consult your adviser for specific questions regarding these or other options.
