Health and Wellness
Charlotte Laidler CC’26 is from Parkland, Fla., and studied biology on the pre-medical track. She is being recognized with the Health and Wellness Leadership and Excellence award for her commitment to mental health advocacy within the athletics community. She helped in organizing mental-health awareness games for multiple teams across campus, which focused on destigmatizing mental health within athletics. Laidler also attended a conference focused on how to effectively normalize and encourage seeking help for mental health-related needs as a student-athlete. She plans to continue advocating for the mental health of all students as she pursues a career in healthcare, while a medical assistant in Boston as she applies to medical school.
