Senior Marshal
Rachinta Marpaung SEAS’26 is recognized for her leadership, service, and impact on the engineering community. She served on the Engineering Student Council for three years, where her dedication to improving the student experience led to both lasting traditions and meaningful policy change. As former VP of finance and VP of student life on the Engineering Student Council, Marpaung led initiatives that expanded student access to resources. Most notably, she established Dinner on ESC, which provides meals to students, including during times of campus disruption when access to dining halls was limited. Marpaung also worked closely with University administration to advocate for students, helping enable clubs to more easily host events in campus spaces. She also mentored students through the Society of Women Engineers, supporting their academic and professional development, and served as a TA in the electrical engineering department, supporting more than 100 students each semester.
