Diana Sophia Cordoba CC’26 is an urban studies major with a minor in French, and is from Ames, Iowa. She is being recognized for her commitment to immigration law and policy, which has taken her from the International Rescue Committee to Project Rousseau, where she works with young asylum seekers and their families On campus, Cordoba has served as co-editor-in-chief of the Barnard-Columbia Urban Review and as director of podcasting and audio at the Columbia Daily Spectator, where her reporting earned a national Apple Award. She is also involved in and adores the Housing Equity Project. will attend Sciences Po’s Paris School of International Affairs in the fall as the national recipient of the Michel David-Weill Scholarship. There, she plans to study cross-border policy and develop frameworks that support stability and dignity for migrant families.
