Sophia Strugnell CC’25 is a senior studying economics. She is the captain of the Columbia Women's Tennis team, leading by example through her dedication and support of her teammates on and off the court. Strugnell served on the board of the Voice in Sport Chapter at Columbia, a non-profit organization that works to advocate for female athletes, and promoted student athletes as a board member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. Additionally, Strugnell is on the junior board of Make a Play Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to preparing student athletes for the professional world. Beyond collegiate sports, Strugnell is also involved with Columbia Eats, Columbia's first food publication. After graduating, she will work as a strategy management consultant at Deloitte.
