Senior Marshal
Rohan Soni CC’25 has demonstrated exemplary leadership both within and beyond Columbia. He served on CCSC as class representative and class president for the Class of 2025, playing a key role in advocating for student needs during his time through policy proposals, expressing student needs to administration, and outreach within the Columbia community. As an executive board member of Alpha Kappa Psi, Soni helped enact policies to make the organization more diverse and inclusive in its membership and practices. Beyond campus, Soni demonstrated his commitment to civic engagement by recruiting members of the Class of 2025 to help create Streamline 2024, an accessible and digestible policy database for all perspectives in the 2024 presidential election. His efforts reached an audience of more than four million and led to a partnership with Michelle Obama's When We All Vote, amplifying voter education and participation nationwide.
I would not be in this position without the amazing friends, family and mentors that I have had to guide me over these past four years. This award is a testament to how much they have supported me and for them all I am so grateful.
