Patrick Passalacqua SEAS’25 is being recognized for his leadership, athletic and academic excellence, and commitment to community impact at Columbia University. As a football team captain and record-breaking shot putter, Passalacqua has demonstrated exceptional dedication to both team and individual success. Off the field, he has played a pivotal role in mentoring teammates and spearheading volunteer initiatives. Academically, he maintains a 3.9 GPA while studying operations research: analytics at Columbia Engineering. His passion for problem-solving extends beyond the classroom, with professional experience in logistics, energy solutions and investment research. Passalacqua has also contributed to community-driven projects like The Opportunity Project, where he focused on socioeconomic well-being measurement in the Bronx. His well-rounded approach to leadership, service and excellence embodies the values of the Undergraduate Student Life community.
I am incredibly grateful to my family, friends, teammates and mentors for their unwavering support throughout my journey at Columbia.
