Haley Oba SEAS’28 is a first-year majoring in biomedical engineering. She is being recognized for her contributions to health and wellness through advocacy and community-driven initiatives. Oba is passionate about menstrual equity and increasing menstrual product accessibility. Beyond that, she strives to support overall well-being by organizing check-ins with her peers. Additionally, Oba is an undergraduate researcher at the Dranovsky Lab working to increase accuracy of cell identification. Whether it's through advocating for wellness or simply being an approachable source of support, she aims to create a healthier, more inclusive environment for her peers at Columbia.
