Nicole Jaehee Kim CC’25 is a senior studying applied mathematics and race and ethnicity studies. At Columbia, Kim has been involved in the development of CSER programming, has served as the political chair of Columbia KSA and has organized multiple AAPI teach-ins, community dinnersand seminars in partnership with Columbia's DEI Office. She is also a member of various advisory councils, education coalitions and teacher's coalitions. Outside of advocacy, Kim has also served as the VP of the Columbia Mock Trial Team. Kim is dedicated to her educational advocacy in and outside of Columbia. She is heavily involved in the development of AAPI history curricula in public schools across the Manhattan area and teaches art for elementary school students in Harlem.
