Amanda Lee Jenkins SEAS’25 is a senior studying computer engineering and entrepreneurship & innovation. Since arriving, Jenkins has shown a consistent drive to lead and serve the Columbia community, particularly in spaces focused on academic and professional growth. She has served as president and senator of Columbia’s National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Organization, where she led several key initiatives. Notably, Jenkins organized NSBE’s 46th anniversary event, which brought together more than 150 students, distinguished faculty and alumni to celebrate the organization’s legacy and strengthen community ties. She has also served as a peer ambassador for the Center for Career Education and as an at-large-representative on the Student Governing Board. With a passion for innovation and mentorship, Jenkins hopes to pave the way for the next generation of leaders in engineering and beyond. At her core, she is driven to create meaningful change and leave spaces better than she found them.
