Inclusion and Advocacy
Charlie Hoskins CC’25 is a graduating senior pursuing a major in history and a concentration in political science. During his time at Columbia, he has focused on activities to advance human rights and build inclusive communities. While serving the Columbia Policy Institute as president and previously as Democratic Access and Human Rights Center director, Hoskins has led projects to advocate for social justice causes. This includes a research project about the history of transgender rights at Columbia from the 1990s to the present, through which the Human Rights Center sought to address how much more work must be done to protect transgender students, especially in the current political climate.
