Jennifer Chen CC’25 is being recognized for her dedication to fostering community and engagement at Columbia University. As a co-lead of the University Life Events Council, she helps organize inclusive and impactful programming that brings students from all schools together. She also serves as a member of the Columbia College Senior Fund 2025, encouraging philanthropy among her peers to fundraise for future student financial aid. Passionate about mentorship and student support, Chen is a mentor for the Columbia Mentoring Initiative , where she guides underclassmen through their academic and personal journeys. Additionally, she has played a key role in welcoming new students as an NSOP ExploreNYC leader, introducing them to New York City and the Columbia campus. Through these roles, Chen is committed to creating meaningful experiences and fostering a strong sense of belonging within the Columbia community.
