Christa Abiola Akerele CC’25 is a senior studying neuroscience and behavior, and business management. Akerele has been a dedicated leader on the Community Impact Student Executive Board, where she has played a key role in overseeing a range of service initiatives to support communities across Manhattan. In addition, Akerele has been a lead coordinator for Project Tutors for the past two years, working to provide academic support through tutoring programs at charter schools and community centers in Harlem, ensuring that all students have the resources they need to succeed. This fall, Akerele will begin medical school, where she plans to pursue a combined MD-MBA program to create scalable change in healthcare, focusing on expanding access to care and enhancing quality for underserved communities.
