Award Recognition
Zvi Galil Award for Improvement in Engineering Student Life
With the mission of inspiring, educating, and launching the next generation of entrepreneurs, CORE has been awarded the Zvi Galil award for their commitment to the engineering community’s integration with entrepreneurial efforts across the university. This academic year, CORE hosted its first international Tech Trek since the pandemic, which is an opportunity for students to visit cities around the world and get acquainted with their respective entrepreneurial ecosystems. 10 students visited singapore and Thailand and visited engineering focused startups such as Turtle Tree Labs, and Powerhour AI. Beyond this CORE also offers their members opportunities to develop their own start up ideas through initiatives such as Startup accelerator Almawork, LionLaunch as well as product management fellowships. Their commitment, not only to the entrepreneurial field, but to building connections between engineering students and the entire campus, embodies the ideals of the Zvi Gailil Award for improvement of engineering student life.
